Independent Chairman
Appointed in July 2009, Richard Westlake in an Independent Chairman on the Intergen Board.
With more than 15 years' experience as a director and board chairman, Richard is an Accredited Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management. He is also an active member on a number of boards, including Chair of the Standards Council of New Zealand and Better Border Biosecurity, and is foundation director of Kiwibank Limited.
As director of Wellington-based Westlake Consulting Limited, Richard Works with boards and CEOs in the private and public sectors, with particular expertise in NGOs, other not-for-profit organisations and Crown-owned entities.
