Account Manager, Sydney
Mark Trotter is Intergen's Sydney Account Manager. As one of the longest standing Intergenites, having joined Intergen in 1999 and moved through most areas of the business, Mark has a special place in Intergen’s heart.
Mark started out with Intergen as a graduate Access VB developer. From there he moved into project management, and then into sales. His career experience allows him to see his customers’ projects from a number of perspectives and understand their challenges and ambitions. As Mark says of himself, “I’m a geek at heart. I know what I’m talking about.”
What does Mark love about his job? “I like getting to the point in a project where there’s a synergy between Intergen and the customer, where it’s almost like we’re a branch of their organisation. I like to build long term relationships, some of which go back more than ten years.”
As one might expect of a self-professed geek, outside work Mark is a “gadget boy and petrolhead.”
